Team Lotus: Kovalainen, Trulli and Chandhok at work in Spa-Francorchamps free practice

In free practice for the Belgian Grand Prix, Kovalainen, Trulli and reserve driver Chandhok took to the track. Below is the comment from the three Lotus drivers at the end of the day.

Karun Chandhok – 21: “It's good to be back in the car and, despite the weather, I enjoyed my time out there. Today I had traffic on what would have been my fastest lap, but the ability to spend more time driving is always useful. It was a bit of a stop-start session for everyone, I did as much as I could today."

Heikki Kovalainen – 20: “It's always difficult in this weather to get anything significant, but we still collected some data that will be useful for Sunday. Tomorrow should be interesting – it looks like there will be rain, but we have always done quite well in qualifying in the changing conditions, so let's see what we can do with the strategy tomorrow afternoon – whatever happens I'm sure it will be a good session for the fans! ”

Jarno Trulli – 18: “Despite being a typical Spa day, it was quite positive for me. Obviously I knew what the conditions were going to be, and so we managed to get through most of what we wanted. One positive point is that we were problem-free in all the runs today and so I think it's important that we continue like this all weekend and give ourselves the chance to be ready if something happens in qualifying or the race."
