Maldonado has problems with the Kers and the water pump

Lots of difficulties at Williams

Even the German qualifications did not bring good news to the Williams. The English team has in fact had to deal with more than a few problems as the director explained mike coughlan: “The morning started immediately uphill due to a KERS failure on the car Maldonado the origin of which we still have to understand, not to mention the lack of grip which had its impact in FP3. Unfortunately the changes made for the afternoon did not work and both he and Bottas they then had to fight with the tyres. Pastor also had some problems with the water pump during Q1, so he was only able to do one lap."

“It couldn't have been done more than that. In the end our current step is this – the comment of Valtteri, 18th and 17th – Tomorrow we'll see."

“I expected something better, but the car was very difficult to drive – the words of the Venezuelan, 17th and 18th – There is still a lot to do to solve the problems and recover positions. I expect a complicated race, as the Nürburgrig is a track that is not very suitable for our car, nevertheless I will do everything I can to get into the points."
