Sutil ready to turn his F1 career around

Adrian Sutil does not rule out changing teams as his career at Force India appears to be at a standstill. The German has been with the Indian team since Vijay Mallya took over the team, and there has often been talk of his possible move to a stronger team.

But this year the German is paired with the reigning DTM champion, Paul di Resta, who in his first 3 F1 Grands Prix managed to overshadow Sutil.

“I want to continue and take the next step, with a new team or with the same team, you always want to progress,” Sutil told The National.

“2010 was a good year for me. The problem arose in the last few races, just when it is necessary to impress" added Sutil, denying that he was annoyed by the performance of his new teammate, a rookie in F1.

“I always want to compete against the best, I'm not here to compete against drivers who can't even go in a straight line” added Sutil.

“Di Resta is not a typical debutant. He raced in the DTM for four years with an official team. He's not like someone who comes from Formula 3 or GP2."
