Sutil is ready to renew his contract with Force India
Adrian Sutil has confirmed his manager's statement that he is ready to remain with Force India in 2011.
Manfred Zimmerman, the German driver's manager, said on Monday that his driver had said he was available to renew with the Silverstone team, but had not yet signed any contract.
Zimmerman added that confirmation of the agreement will be available "within two or three weeks."
Sutil commented to Bayerischen Fernsehen TV: “It would be nice to move to a really top-class team, but at the moment there are no similar opportunities. So I'm very happy to stay at Force India for another season."
A move to Renault was theorized for Sutil, but it is believed that the Enstone team has decided to confirm Vitaly Petrov for 2011 too.
Likewise there were rumors that the 27-year-old would replace Michael Schumacher at Mercedes, but the seven-time world champion confirmed his intention to remain in F1 next year.
Sutil then said he was ready to sign a new agreement with Force India.
“I hope it happens in the next couple of weeks. It's nice to be in Force India, because we come from the back, we improve every year, and 2010 was the most satisfying for us. We have to make sure we keep this trend going, even if we got a little lost in the season finale,” she commented.
