Stevens would like the wheel of Caterham
Pilot Manor ready to launch his offer at the next auction
This time it's not figuratively but literally. Will Stevens, current Manor driver and featured in Caterham's return to the final grand prix of 2014 in Abu Dhabi last November, would like to buy a steering wheel.
Which one will you ask? Precisely the one used on the occasion of his very first F1 race.
“I know that there will be pieces belonging to previous seasons, however if they don't have to sell the entire single-seater I would be very happy to buy my steering – the Englishman confided to Autosport, ready to present himself at the next auction which will see other assets of the failed team sold Malaysian – It would be a nice memory to keep.”
The 28 acres of Leafiled's base were also put on the market. So far the offers have reached £5,5 million.
