Stanaway: “The criticism of Jorda? You deserve it. She always came last”

The drastic decision of Marco Sorensen, now Aston Martin driver in the WEC, to abandon Renault, former Lotus, F1 due to the reconfirmation of the beautiful Jorda as test driver despite the absence of a noteworthy CV has sparked debate between colleagues and insiders.

For those not aware of the casus belli, the Dane had accused the Spanish car of not being of much value and of having lapped much slower than him during the test sessions on the Enstone simulator.

Statements immediately contested by the 27-year-old via Twitter. “You 12 seconds faster? I've been laughing for 12 hours!!” – the sibylline chirping.

Now, however, as usual, a third has emerged between the two litigants. It's a matter of Richie Stanaway, rival of the Alcoy driver in GP3 in 2014, who partly out of male solidarity, partly out of a sense of merit, with another social network coup sided in favor of the 25-year-old by addressing the interested party directly.

“Carmen, if you hadn't constantly finished the races behind everyone, no one would have ever made fun of you” – the clear message from the New Zealander involved in endurance and GP2.

And just to avoid any misunderstanding, we report some data. Since her debut, the youngster has finished in the top ten of a championship five times. Specifically, she finished 7th in the 2005 Master Junior Formula and 9th the following season. She 4th in 2007 in the Iberian Formula 3 Copa F300 and 8th in 2008 in the same series but category Copa F306 / 300. Finally she 6th in 2009 in the F3 Open Class A and Copa F306/300.
