Safe English press: Jenson Button will announce his retirement at Suzuka

The British press, which has always followed very closely the events linked to a much loved English driver such as Jenson Button, is certain that the 2009 world champion will announce his retirement from F1 in the upcoming Japanese GP.

Il Daily Mail and Telegraph they take Jenson's exit from F1 as a done deal. The choice, according to what is reported, would be entirely up to the driver, who would have decided to interrupt the talks with McLaren (and Honda) to stay another year and would prefer to look elsewhere, perhaps at that WEC to which he winks from a bit'.

Button would be noticeably tired of racing with an uncompetitive car and the conditions for 2016 are not encouraging enough to risk another year at the back at thirty-seven. In the very recent Singapore GP we often heard Jenson complain on the radio about the difficulty of managing an "impossible" single-seater like the MP4-30. Meanwhile, the driver would have chosen Japan as the venue to announce his farewell for reasons of the heart: in addition to Suzuka being his favorite track, JB is very attached to the Rising Sun, a country where he is a huge fan and where his beautiful wife comes from.
