In obvious difficulty when it starts to rain and on slow circuits, starting from the Monaco GP, the Williams has started a program dedicated to finding a solution for this debilitating problem, especially with a view to 2016.

“In fact we are focusing on the weak points of the car which are the performance deficit on low speed tracks and in wet conditions” – the manager of the pit wall explained to Autosport Rob smedley.

“At Silverstone we were on Mercedes' pace but then when the bad weather arrived Red Bull and Ferrari caught up with us and in Austria in the last free practice session with full wet tires we lost at least 3% of the performance. Two episodes that alarmed us and convinced us to create a dedicated group – he analyzed – In Russia on Friday the ideal conditions presented themselves so we took advantage of it to work on this front”.
