Senna is not considered a potential replacement for Kubica

Bruno Senna has never been considered a potential replacement for Robert Kubica: this was stated by Eric Boullier, after the Brazilian driver tested the R31 in Jerez.

“Senna's test day was not planned to evaluate his abilities, but rather to get him to do some kilometers and prepare him for the role of third driver,” said Boullier.
The media gave much emphasis to the fact that Senna, on Sunday, was significantly slower than Heidfeld's performance 24 hours earlier.
However, the Brazilian explained that he was not disappointed: "The work I have done leaves my possibilities open with this team for the future, and it seemed to me that the boys appreciated it."
In reality, after his debut with Honda more than two years ago, Jerez was the second day of testing ever for Bruno.
“I wasn't competing with Heidfeld. I came here in my role as third driver. To do a good job you need more than one day behind the wheel, and they need a trained driver,” Senna told Globo Esporte.
