Sebastien Buemi possible third Red Bull driver also in 2013

Sebastien Buemi will remain Red Bull's third official and reserve driver in 2013, according to Swiss newspaper SonntagsBlick.

It had already emerged that the former Toro Rosso driver, Red Bull's reserve driver in 2012, was definitively out of the running for this year's Force India second seat.

SonntagsBlick also reported that the 24-year-old Swiss driver will be in Brazil this week, to participate in the annual karting race in Florianopolis organized by Felipe Massa.

Meanwhile, Belgian newspaper Le Vif reported that Jerome d'Ambrosio is set to remain Lotus' third official driver in 2013.

The 27-year-old, who is managed by Lotus team boss Eric Boullier, has been working his way back to the grid.

“My management is working hard,” said d'Ambrosio, “but it's difficult because there are a lot of experienced drivers without a team. We'll see."
