Schumacher: “Red Bull has more staff than allowed”

Michael Schumacher has accused Red Bull of failing to respect the agreement regarding the number of people who can work in an F1 team.

Ross Brawn drastically reduced his Brackley workforce when he bought the team after Honda's withdrawal, and then severely restricted hiring despite the arrival of Mercedes last year.
Schumacher is referring to an article of the Resource Restriction Agreement (RRA), a pact signed by the teams to reduce costs, while in the past Red Bull had always been accused of breaking the RRA guidelines regarding the budget for 2010.
“There was an agreement to limit the size of teams, but some teams don't respect it. Now there seem to be different views. Mercedes will have to take the field openly or the teams will respect what they have signed up to. We're not playing by the same rules. If you look at how many people are on our staff and compare it to Red Bull, the numbers are very different,” Schumy told the Daily Express.
