Investigators are now closer to solving the case of the theft of Michael Schumacher's medical records. According to the Swiss newspaper Sonntagsblick, investigators have found that the report on the German's condition was not stolen or copied by the staff of the Grenoble hospital, where Schumacher remained in a coma for almost six months.
According to the French police, the medical records were copied during the German's recent transfer by ambulance between Grenoble and Lausanne, a journey of about two hours. The company that runs the ambulance service is based in Valais, Switzerland, and a spokesperson said: "We have decided not to have a public position on the Michael Schumacher case."
