Schumacher: “The result in Spa encourages us to give our all for the season finale”

Michael Schumacher stated that the Mercedes GP she feels optimistic and confident ahead of the season finale, after the result achieved at Spa Francorchamps.

Schumacher just celebrated twenty years in Formula One and finished fifth, starting twenty-fourth.

Nico Rosberg he finished the race sixth, ensuring the team some good points, to distance itself from Renault in the constructors' championship.

Schumi acknowledges that Mercedes was able to draw good conclusions from the Belgian performance, one of the best, if not the best, of the season.

“The last European race will take place in Monza, a true Formula One circuit rich in history, and a circuit where I have always been warmly welcomed over the years” declared the German.

“We had a good result at Spa last weekend and I enjoyed overtaking and making up so many positions.”

“This spurs us on for the season finale and we will continue to push to give our all and achieve the best possible results.”
