Sauber, UBS new main sponsor?
di StaffDecember 28, 2011
Sauber is reportedly close to signing a sponsorship agreement with the Swiss financial group UBS.
It became known in recent months that the CEO of UBS, Oswald Grubel, rather than linking the company brand to the category with generic sponsorships on the circuits, intended to become a partner of a single team.
The Swiss newspaper Blick published some photos showing a Sauber car with UBS logos and now defines the agreement as a "done thing" which has already been approved by the board of directors.
Grubel resigned from his role at UBS at the end of September.
