Sauber: Perez and Kobayashi in the points in Spain

Sergio Perez and Kamui Kobayashi are satisfied with having brought both Sauber cars to points in the Spanish Grand Prix.

Sergio Perez – Pos 9:
“It was a tough race today and a tough fight for points. I'm very happy with what we did. My first points in Formula One are obviously something special for me, and it's good for the team who also scored with Kamui. The team had a very good race strategy and did a perfect job at the pit stop. I feel like today is a turning point for me in this season. We will continue well and score more points. ”

Kamui Kobayashi – Pos 10:
“I lost a lot of time on lap 1 today. After the start I was pushed into the gravel and then another car hit me, which caused a puncture on the left rear. I had to pit and was relegated to last position, and it certainly cost us a good set of soft tyres. I had to do a very long stint on the harder tyres, and it wasn't easy, but overall the race pace was okay. I'm happy to have scored for the fourth time in a row, and I think we're going in the right direction. “
