Sauber, Jorg Zander will be the new technical director
Already in F1 and former technical director of Audi Sport, the German engineer will return to Hinwill in 2017

Sauber will have a new technical director in 2017. The Swiss team has in fact signed him Jorg Zander, employed since 2015 with Audi Sport in Endurance. The German engineer has already played in F1, having worked at Toyota, Bar, Williams, Honda and Sauber itself. After a complicated year, Sauber aims to relaunch itself in 2017, thanks also to investments from the new ownership Longbow Finance.
"I'm really happy to be able to return to Sauber, Switzerland is after all a bit like my adopted country – Zander said – After many years in high-level endurance racing, I am happy to return to F1, especially to be able to work at Sauber and to start right at the beginning of a new era of F1."
