Sauber: Top ten with Kobayashi in Singapore

A good qualification for Kobayashi in the qualifications of the Singapore Grand Prix who enters the top ten of the grid. Nick Heidfeld, making his Sauber debut, however, achieved 15th position.

Kamui Kobayashi – Pos 10:
"I'm very happy. I managed to do a couple of fast laps in qualifying. It wasn't easy in free practice on Friday. The track is new for me and is obviously a challenge, along with the heat and the lights. The team worked well and today's result is the best I could ask for today.”

Nick Heidfeld – Pos 15:
“I'm not completely satisfied. I was hoping for more and I think I didn't get the most out of the car. But perhaps this is due to the fact that I drove this car yesterday for the first time with these tyres. There is a lot to learn and I'm sure the benefits will come soon. I'm not pessimistic about the race, because on the long run in race conditions we have a good car. Let's see what we can do tomorrow.”
