Sauber F1: A good qualifying for Kobayashi and de la Rosa

Kamui Kobayashi, Pos 10:
"I already knew from free practice 3 in the morning that my pace here would be good for Q3. The team did a really good job. We changed direction for the development of the car and as a reward we got Q3. The performance of the car they are much better. We have some aerodynamic updates and also an engine update for reliability. I don't want to set any goals for tomorrow, I just hope to finish the race."

Pedro de la Rosa, Pos 12:
"I'm not satisfied. In Q2 I was sixth and obviously it was possible to get into Q3. I don't understand what went wrong. I had a bit of understeer here and there. However, the positive thing is that we made a big step forward compared to at the Chinese Grand Prix and we are much more competitive."
