Sauber F1: Double placing in the points in Budapest

Double useful result for Sauber F1 with both drivers in the points in the Hungarian Grand Prix and for the first time this season. Pedro de la Rosa and Kamui Kobayashi finished the race in seventh and ninth place respectively.

Pedro de la Rosa – Pos 7:
“I am extremely happy and I am particularly happy for the team who deserved a good result for all the hard work developing the car. After the start it was difficult for me but then the safety car came out at the right time and the team did a good job that they called me in for my pit stop and it went very well and I was more or less in able to maintain position. My car was fine during the race, although I saw some things we can learn. We came here and didn't expect too much at this slow circuit and now we've finished with two cars in the points for the first time this year. ”

Kamui Kobayashi – Pos 9:
“I think I had a good recovery after my bad qualifying. I could only do my best today. My start was good and then, after the safety car period it was important to be able to overtake Michael Schumacher, Rubens Barrichello, because otherwise they would have caught me before the end. I'm so happy for the team that we got both cars into the points for the first time this season. I think we can all be happy about our summer holidays, and it's a very nice feeling. “
