Sauber, Ericsson: “We want to improve and get back into the points”

The Swede Marcus Ericsson hopes that Sauber, thanks to the new ownership Longbow Finance, will finally be able to invest in the single-seater and bring the right developments to the track, so as to shake off the shame of being the bottom of the league, a position to which Hinwill has historically not been used to.

“Many teams have already introduced some updates and will make further progress after the summer break – commented the Sauber driver – I hope that we can also improve a lot by bringing some updates to the car. Unfortunately we are a little behind in the development of the car, but we really need to get back into the points as soon as possible, for us it is essential to score points also because the Manor is now ahead of us in the standings."
