Sauber, Ericsson fifteenth: “My race was decent”
Felipe Nasr's race, however, was more troubled, only nineteenth at the finish line
Sauber did not go beyond fifteenth place in yet another difficult weekend of a season to forget. The Swiss team powered by Ferrari implemented a one-stop strategy with Marcus Ericsson, with the Swede managing to recover at least a few positions at the end of the race compared to the starting position.
Marcus Ericsson (15th)"For me it was a decent race. The start wasn't bad, I think the one-pit stop strategy was the best choice. My first stint on the medium tires was also good. Obviously we still lack the pace needed to fight for the points.".
Felipe Nasr (19th)"It was a really difficult weekend for me in general. The first part of the race with the hard tires was positive, but then I made a mistake in turn 11 and damaged the compounds. I had to stop earlier than planned due to vibrations, and then the blue flags slowed my pace a bit."
