Sauber C34: new car and new livery revealed
Blue, yellow and white for the Hinwil team
Sauber C34 – Sauber presented its new car for the 2015 Formula 1 world championship, the Sauber C34. After the disappointing 2014 season without points, the Swiss team now hopes to return to competitiveness.
Sauber has opted for a completely new livery, going from white and gray to blue and yellow. Still powered by the Ferrari engine, the new Sauber sports a large, albeit very rounded, bump at the front. The design team focused on improving slow cornering performance, reducing weight and improving braking stability.
The C34 has slimmer sides than the previous car thanks to the adoption of radiators mounted in a horizontal position.
The team has an all-new driver lineup for 2015 with Marcus Ericsson and Felipe Nasr. Ericsson will debut the car in Jerez starting from Sunday. An interim car will be used for the first tests, including some parts from the C33 which will be replaced later.
