Sanson: “Doping also in F1”

The French expert denounces the use of tacrine in F1

Sanson: “Doping also in F1”

Even F1 is not immune to doping according to a French expert. From 2003 to 2005, Marc Sanson was head of the French anti-doping council. Recently the French Senate revealed an explosive report on doping, particularly in the world of cycling. But the Senate would also turn its attention to other sports, including the use of beta blockers in golf.

And Sanson said that in his opinion several F1 drivers have also used performance-enhancing substances: “For many years, drivers have used tacrine, a product used in the treatment of diseases such as Alzheimer's, to more easily remember circuits".
