Sainz: “The engine issue is being resolved”
The Toro Rosso-Ferrari agreement seems to be very close
di Chiara Rainis13 October 2015
There is nothing official yet but second Carlos Sainz the future, or at least 2016, of Toro Rosso should be assured thanks to an ever closer agreement with Ferrari for the supply of the power unit.
“It seems like the pieces of the puzzle are falling into place, so I'm optimistic – he told Autosport – I honestly hope we can get the signature soon so we can start working on next year's car. Driven by a more powerful engine, even just an evolution of the STR10 would be perfect."
“I am positive in character so I want to think that we will have a competitive package available to fight at the top more often – added the Madrid native – So even if Maranello granted the 2015 specifications it wouldn't be so bad...”.
