Sabine Kehm: “New challenges for Mick in 2015”
The manager of the seven-time F1 World Champion has specified that Schumacher JR will not speak to the press
And the first one is gone too. Yesterday Mick Schumacher was the absolute protagonist of the first day of testing for the new Formula 4, a championship in which he will take part in the 2015 season, alongside another son of art, Harrison Newey, scion of Adrian, father of the Red Bull Formula 1. To witness the first steps on a Formula 4 single-seater they were accredited at the Oschersleben circuit, in northern Germany, approximately one hundred among journalists and photographers despite the 16-year-old's manager urging everyone to calm down.
The young man, who has left the karting category to try his hand at the new F4, he first called himself Mick Junior or Mick Betsch, his mother's surname, and will be forced to be subjected to great media pressure. As Sabine Kehm specified, however, Mick he will not speak to the press: “We must not forget that we are talking about a 16 year old boy – he continued – This year he will have to have a lot of new experiences and, at the same time, do what is necessary to do his best”.
