Rossi admits he is thinking about F1
di F1 editorial team4 June, 2010
Valentino Rossi has shown that he is interested in driving a possible third Ferrari car.
The multiple MotoGP champion has been linked several times to a future in F1 with the Maranello team, which is pushing for the possibility of using a third car in the championship.
In an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport Rossi indicated that he did not want to move to F1 if he were to be one of Ferrari's two official drivers.
“To have a strong team like Yamaha (in MotoGP), Ferrari should field Sebastian Vettel alongside Alonso,” he said.
“I would like to explore the possibility of having a third car for myself,” added the Pesaro native.
