Rosberg admits having had contact with McLaren in the past

Nico Rosberg he admitted that in the past, when he was still under contract with Williams, there had been negotiations for a possible move to McLaren.

“It's true, there was a first contact, even if I never had the chance to really change, having already had a contract,” the German told the Kolner Express.

“I'm happy to have been with the Williams and now my challenge is the Mercedes".

The 26-year-old was also at the center of attention due to rumors that he was in contact and in negotiations with Ferrari. Despite the fact that he has yet to win a race after over a hundred Grand Prix races, Rosberg says he is happy.

The German thinks that Mercedes, with its cars often called the Silver Arrows, is as prestigious a brand as the Prancing Horse, if not more prestigious.

“The history of the Silver Arrows is impressive, seeing old Fangio videos from the 50s. I said before that winning with the Silver Arrows is my dream."
