Ricciardo remembers Bianchi: “I dedicate the success achieved today in Sepang to Jules”
On the day of his return to success, the Australian remembers his friend Bianchi
On a Sunday worth remembering, in which he returned to the top step after two years of fasting, Daniel Ricciardo remembered Jules Bianchi. The Australian from Red Bull dedicated his success in the Malaysian Grand Prix to the late French driver, who died in Nice on 17 July 2015 following serious injuries sustained in the impact with a tractor on the Suzuka track on 5 October 2014 .
"Just over two years have passed since my last success, a period in which many things have happened – Ricciardo's thoughts – Losing a friend like Jules was a difficult moment to accept, and it changed my life. I would have liked to win again sooner to dedicate one of my triumphs to him".
"From that day I changed as a person, I started to appreciate them more things – stated the Australian – The race won today is another dream come true. My thoughts today go precisely to Bianchi".
