Ricciardo: “The long runs gave me morale”

Red Bull Test Jerez – Third day in Jerez de la Frontera peppered with some technical problems for the Red Bull.

This morning Daniel Ricciardo he was in fact forced to make repairs to the pits early due to a failure in his power unit RB11, to return to the track in the afternoon and complete 48 laps which earned him the penultimate place in the standings.

“Even though today we weren't able to do much, the long runs of 10-15 laps each were encouraging – said the Australian – We learned a lot about the car and the engine, while it's still too early to make a judgment on the pace. Overall, however, we are in good shape."
