Red Bull suffers in home Qualifying

Ricciardo: “It was tough today”

Weekend with a slightly bitter taste for now that of the hosts of the Red Bull, with Daniel Ricciardo fifth behind Ferrari by Alonso e Sebastian Vettel who can't even get to Q3.
The Australian driver, fresh from his victory in Canada, hopes for a recovery in the race, after his RB10 suffered quite a bit during these Qualifying sessions.
The Austrian team hopes to be able to reward its fans on the circuit Red Bull Ring, although now, in addition to the Mercedes, even the other opponents are starting to be scary.

“It was tough out there today,” he admitted Ricciardo. “Honestly, the whole weekend was tiring and I feel like we had to push the car to the max to get that fifth place.”
“Both yesterday and today our pace was slower than that of the other teams in front of us; fifth place is the best we could get."

“The engines Mercedes they are too strong and in the first sector we lost too much. I hope we can recover at least on Ferrari, where there is certainly some margin, because with the Williams a question mark remains... Let's hope he isn't so fast in the race too."

“Congratulations to Felipe anyway. It's great that not only is he racing this weekend, because he wasn't injured in the accident in Canada, but also that he got to pole is a bit of a fairytale, so I'm really very happy, he deserves it and it's nice to have see”, concluded an always smiling Ricciardo.
