Renault, Latifi on track with an old Lotus
The aim is to accumulate the kilometers necessary to obtain the licence
On a test day organized by Renault on the Valencia track, Nicholas Latifi carried out a day's work aboard an old Lotus E20 branded with the livery of the French Scuderia.
The objective of the session was to clock up the kilometers necessary for the issue of the FIA Super License given that the Canadian will be the third driver of the transalpine team from next season.
Latifi, we remember, was promoted to test driver for Renault last March, but, given the lack of an FIA super license and commitment to Formula 3, the Canadian talent was never able to get on track with the RS16 during this championship.
