Renault F1: report from the last day of testing in Valencia
di 4 February 2010
The 25-year-old Russian driver Vitaly Petrov completed 75 laps yesterday on the last day of testing at the Valencia circuit, giving him his first experience with the R30. Vitaly completed the entire technical program without any problems, concluding a positive week for the team. Testing will continue next week in Jerez.
Vitaly Petrov:
"I really enjoyed my first day in the car and everything went well. The car is impressive compared to a GP2 car and I enjoyed experiencing the power and braking performance. After about 30 laps I started to calm me down and understand the limits of the car. It was my first opportunity to work with my technicians and so far everything is going really well, I'm satisfied with my first day of testing."
