Renault F1: Fernando Alonso's farewell

Fernando Alonso (POS 14):
“Today's result is disappointing because we were not able to produce the results we wanted. I would have liked to finish the season on a high, especially as this was my last race with Renault. I would like to thank the entire team for everything we have achieved together over the years. We had great victories and won the championship together. It was the most amazing experience of my career, seven years that I will never forget.”

Romain Grosjean (POs 18):
“The race was disappointing. I made a good start, but I got stuck several times. I also suffered some brake problems during the race. Towards the end, unfortunately, I lost a position with Fisichella, it was really a shame, but the performance of the car really didn't allow me to demonstrate what I could do. Now the season is over and I can say that I have learned a lot thanks also to my teammate Fernando Alonso.”
