Red Bull, passed all crash tests
Passed the approval checks at the Cranfield site
di Roberto Valenti17 February 2016
During the presentation of the new livery that Red Bull will bring to the track next season, Chris Horner, team principal of the Austrian Scuderia, confirmed that the RB12 has passed all the crash test operations required by the International Automobile Federation for homologation of the 2016 chassis. The checks began on Monday in the FIA operations center in Cranfield and were only completed today, just in time to send the chassis to Barcelona for the first test session.
Daniel Ricciardo and Daniil Kvyat will therefore be able to easily take to the track on Monday and begin the work of weaning the new single-seater designed by Adrian Newey and all his staff.
