Red Bull: Ricciardo, “We are learning and making progress”

After having played an excellent race on Sunday, climbing up to fourth place in the Bahrain Grand Prix, Daniel Ricciardo returned to the wheel of the Red Bull Racing RB10 today, the first test of the season of the year which started at the Bahrain International Circuit.
 
Daniel completed 91 laps of the Sakhir circuit. His best time was 1:38.326 and then he said he was satisfied with the progress made today.
 
“We lost some time this morning, but we did a lot in the afternoon. I think I was in the car for a good few hours,” he told her. “We did some good long runs in the afternoon with three set-up changes and got some good responses from that. I think over last weekend we struggled a little bit in L1 and L3, the daytime sessions in the heat, but I felt the car felt a lot better today in those conditions, particularly on those long runs. We are still a little behind but we are working and I am sure that during this test and in China we will be a little closer to the top. For now, though, let's take every little thing we can get. We are learning and making progress.”
