Red Bull, Ricciardo: “Monza is a challenging track”
"I would like to conquer the podium", the Australian's desire for the Italian GP
di Piero Ladisa31 August, 2016
On a fast track like Monza, with low downforce, Daniel Ricciardo believes that Red Bull may have problems competing for the top positions. Nonetheless, the Australian's goal is to reach the Top Three. Since he has been competing in Formula 1, the best result achieved by Ricciardo in the Brianza event was fifth place in the 2014 edition.
"Su a challenging track like that of Monza, made up of long straights, we could have difficulties – declared Ricciardo – You have to have good speed, sacrificing aerodynamics. A setup like that it can also accelerate tire degradation, but it is a circuit that I like and we will do our best. I would like to conquer the podium, even if it may seem like a somewhat optimistic goal".
