“You can see from the times that the track is a little bit slower than it was last year, and that's a shame, because some of the fastest corners aren't that fast, but overall the characteristics they remained the same. It's a challenging track, a lot of stop and go – you don't have G forces like on other circuits, there are a lot of bumps, which make life difficult, but overall I like the circuit. It was a good day for us and we should go better than in Monza.”

“I pushed a little too much in the second session, the track was slippery and I went out in the last corner, that's where my session ended. The car was working well up to that point, I was fast and had two pretty good practice sessions. I would have liked to have done more km but in the end we practiced and we will continue tomorrow. I think it could be a good race for us, it will be interesting with the tires not easy to manage here, so we will have to work this evening. Overall not bad.”
