Red Bull Racing F1: Always mediocre results in China

The Chinese Grand Prix has never brought us great results. Last year, Coulthard ranked tenth and Webber fourteenth.

Similarly, our performance in 2007 had not been particularly 'explosive': David Coulthard had bagged a point, finishing eighth, while Webber had finished mid-pack. In 2006, David Coulthard had finished just outside the points in ninth, while Robert Doornbos had put in a decent performance in fourteenth.

Our best result in the Chinese Grand Prix dates back to the year of our debut. In 2005, in fact, Christian Klien achieved an excellent fifth place, while David Coulthard began his unlucky streak in Shanghai, finishing only close to the points zone: ninth.

While our race performances in China have always been consistent, unfortunately they have not been good. We have always been reliable, but rarely brilliant. We hope, this year, where we have already shone in the two qualifying sessions of the first two GPs (in Australia and Malaysia), that we can put an end to this collection of mediocre results in China.
