Red Bull, Mark Webber: “This year I often find myself overtaking due to bad starts”

Mark Webber is adamant he will need to improve his starts after seeing another race compromised by the start in Singapore.

The Red Bull driver has lost starting positions in the last six races, and has been forced to recover.

Webber, who finished third behind teammate Sebastian Vettel and McLaren's Jenson Button, vowed to get to the bottom of the situation to try to improve.

“Unfortunately I find myself having to pass too often this season,” Webber said. “I can't do the part I did last year for some reason. We will look at this and I will definitely improve. It is risky to try to recover positions on the track especially when the DRS is not working.”

“I probably lost a position today. Seb clearly deserved the win. If he comes here to get the podium, you like the victory. This is a very challenging place.”

“The guys did a great job all weekend. It's not an easy track for me, it's difficult for some of us.”

Webber admitted he is keen to end his streak of winning.

“I'm looking forward to getting on the middle step as soon as possible,” he said. “There are still some positives to draw from, which is what we can do.”
