Red Bull, Kvyat: “I'm sorry about the contact with Sebastian”

Disastrous day for Daniel Ricciardo and Daniil Kvyat in Sochi. Unfortunately the damage was so great that we couldn't learn anything from today's race and we don't know what our pace was. Fortunately it should go better in Monaco and Barcelona."

Here are Daniil Kvyat's impressions: “There was a lot of confusion at the start and I had to lock the rear wheels at the chicane. Unfortunately I hit Sebastian and from then on the race was completely ruined. The car was really out of control and I couldn't avoid contact, so much so that I also damaged my front wing. Seb then slowed down for I don't know what reason in turn three and I didn't have time to react. At that point we touched again. I'm sorry for everything, especially for his race and how we threw away so many points. It was probably the most difficult first race lap of my career since I arrived in Formula One. I hope things go better already in Barcelona.".
