Red Bull, Kvyat: “After Shanghai Vettel knows me better”

In Sochi, where the third edition of the Russian Grand Prix will start this weekend, Sebastian Vettel and Daniil Kvyat will find themselves on the track after the accident that saw them protagonists in the Chinese GP, held two weeks ago. What happened in Shanghai is now known history. Immediately after the start, the drivers of Ferrari and Red Bull touched at the braking point of the first corner, thus generating a carambola that also involved the Red number 7 of Kimi Raikkonen, forcing both Ferrari single-seaters into a comeback race.

At the end of the race, Vettel and Kvyat – who finished 2nd and 3rd respectively – argued animatedly at the back of the podium, with the former defining “kamikaze” the colleague's maneuver, with the latter instead calmly labeling everything as a “normal racing accident".

Arriving in his homeland and interviewed about the incident, Kvyat declaredo: “When talking to a colleague for the first or second time – he said to sports box – you start to get to know him better, to understand how he will behave in the future. After our chat, I can say that Vettel has gotten to know me."
