Red Bull, Horner: “In Singapore we could shine again”

It is no coincidence that the best results came in Monte Carlo and Budapest, two "guided" and highly demanding GPs. This is also why Chris Horner is hyper-realistic, confirming that the team expects to suffer quite a bit in the next Belgian and Italian GPs, where the fast corners of SPA and the relentless straights of Monza seem specifically designed to discourage PU Renault, which is stingy with horsepower. .

Conversely, Horner believes that the Singapore track, a slow city with tight corners, will be able to enhance the chassis qualities of the RB11. Red Bull is waiting for the Asian trip to get back to the front and perhaps amaze as happened at the Hungaroring.

“We are enjoying the double podium in Budapest and are already thinking about SPA and Monza - Horner said – We will continue to fight and develop the car. Never say never, maybe it rains in Spa and we can have our say. Of course, these are two very demanding appointments for us. I believe that a good opportunity to do well will be in Singapore. The guys on the team are working very well, improving the front part of the car a lot and also the mechanical components. But it seems that from this point of view we have recovered, the last GPs have been excellent from the point of view of chassis behaviour."
