Red Bull, blowing exhausts the cause of Vettel's puncture?

According to rumors, one of the probable causes of Sebastian Vettel's mysterious retirement at Sunday's Abu Dhabi GP could be the use of exhaust blowers. The German suffered damage to his right rear tire at the second corner and then ended up spinning. The tire was not slashed and was not damaged by debris.

After the race, Vettel went to the offending spot to conduct his analyses. “In three years no one has had a tire problem there, so I wanted to see if there was an obvious cause. And it wasn't there,” the German told the Express newspaper.

According to rumors, something went wrong in the preparation phase preceding the departure. In fact, the procedure preceding the start involves blowing the exhaust from the Renault engine onto the tyres. But some error in the procedures or incorrect mapping would have caused the tire to puncture.
