Red Bull, Daniel Ricciardo: “Sochi atypical track, I want to do well”

It is not a Red Bull track, at least judging by the words of Daniel Ricciardo, who however has a lot of confidence in the RB12, a single-seater that is proving versatile and competitive on any type of track.

Always fourth at the finish line in the first three events of the season, Ricciardo aims to make up for last year's retirement in Sochi, demonstrating a great desire to return to racing in Russia.

“Sochi is not the Russia you expect, it's a modern place with beautiful beaches. It feels like being in a resort - commented Ricciardo, who then spoke about the Russian track - The track is atypical and so far has never married too well with the characteristics of Red Bull. This year, however, we went fast on tracks that in theory were difficult for us, so let's see what happens. The track always has little grip, is very slippery and is not very harsh on the tyres, which wear very little. It's an atypical circuit, in the past we haven't made many pit stops, then the corners are all flat, another peculiarity. I really want to race again in Sochi."
