Raikkonen: “Not a good weekend but we learned a lot”

Kimi Raikkonen: “All in all this was a difficult weekend, but certainly not a disaster and we learned many things. In today's race we managed to gain some positions, but I didn't feel comfortable with the car, which was sliding on the asphalt. In addition to this, whatever the reason, we manage to catch up with the Williams but overtaking them is always difficult. On the straights they are very fast and once we get behind them, our car becomes difficult to drive, much more than when following other lapped cars. As for the choice to use parts of the 'old' aerodynamic package, I think it was useful for all of us to be able to compare the two configurations on the track; I was prepared to take the risk. Maybe it would have gone better with the new aerodynamics, in fact it probably does, but at least now we know. So, for the next races, we need to work better and have weekends without problems, not even small ones, to make everything work. We know where we need to improve."
