Raikkonen has no doubts about Vettel being world champion for the second time
Kimi Raikkonen has no doubts about who will win the 2011 World Cup. According to the Finn, Sebastian Vettel he will easily become world champion for the second time in a row.
The young German driver is leading with 85 points behind the second in the standings and only eight races remain.
“Very often the situation is balanced at the end of the season if someone gave a lot at the beginning of the season. Vettel probably won't even need to win any more races to stay in front until the end."
Raikkonen will turn 32 in October, but has no plans for 2012 and does not appear to want to return to Formula One.
“I don't know,” he replied after a series of questions.
“Even if you ask it a hundred different ways, the answer is that. I don't know and if I don't know, neither do the others."
Like Jacques Villeneuve, Raikkonen admitted he didn't like this F1 too much in 2011, with DRS.
“It has nothing to do with real overtaking. All you can do is get close and press a button and the rider in front can't do much."
“Maybe this system is good for TV, but for pilots it's not very good.”
