Raikkonen is not obsessed with his weight
di F1 editorial teamMarch 13, 2009
Most of the drivers taking part in the 2009 championship have spent the winter losing weight, but Ferrari's Kimi Raikonnen this week stepped out of the calorie control debate.
Interviewed by Gazzetta dello Sport to reveal how many kilos he had lost since the end of the 2008 season, the 29-year-old replied: "I don't know, but I'm happy with my ideal weight." The 2007 world champion also said he doesn't want to get into discussions about the role of drivers within the Maranello team this year, after Felipe Massa won six grands prix last season. When asked whether he is now the first or second driver, Raikonnen replied: "I don't care! Everyone starts the season on the same level."
