Raikkonen in pursuit of perfection

I'm happy to go to Singapore. It's a very beautiful city, I like the food and the evening hours don't bother me. And then it's another street circuit and this year the slower the track was, the better we did, see Valencia and Monaco: there's no reason why it shouldn't be like that in Singapore too.

I have a score to settle with this race. Last year I ended up against the wall in the final stages of the race when I was fighting for fourth place with Glock: it's a memory that still bothers me. The first night race aroused everyone's enthusiasm. Apart from a couple of points in the run-off areas, the entire track was lit perfectly: there was no difference with natural light. As on all tracks of this type, overtaking is almost impossible. KERS will be an advantage but it won't make the difference like at Spa or Monza.

If it is true that the F60 is more competitive on slow tracks, it is equally true that if other teams bring new developments it will be harder for us. We will have to try to get the most out of the package available and find the best balance: if we do everything perfectly then we can aspire to fight for the podium, our primary objective. We have been up there five times in a row in the last five races and I have scored the same points as the best from the Nuerburgring onwards: we hope to continue like this until the end of the championship. It would be nice to maintain third place in the Constructors' standings but it will be very difficult. In the last four Grands Prix we have only brought one car into the points and now we also need the contribution of the second car. I'm sure that thanks to his experience Giancarlo will be able to do it.

Of these four races, I would say that Singapore is the one that best suits Ferrari. To try to win we have to go beyond perfection and also have a bit of luck but after tasting it again in Spa it would be fantastic to feel the taste of victory once again.
