Felipe's first day in Maranello: greetings, gym, 458 Italia and blog with the fans

Felipe Massa returns to Maranello. Almost two months after the accident in Hungary, Felipe crossed the entrance to Ferrari's Sports Management yesterday morning: he was welcomed by Stefano Domenicali who had just returned from Suzuka.

“I'm finally home – Massa told Ferrari.com – This is my second family. I couldn't wait to hug and meet again all the people I've worked with for so many years and who have been so close to me during this period. . Now I can truly say that I'm getting back to work: there's a lot to do but I'm happy, I like the air of Maranello.”

“It's nice to have Felipe back here with us – said Stefano Domenicali – and I'm happy to be able to hug him again. We called together the president Luca di Montezemolo who was happy to be able to greet Felipe and wish him good luck in his work, also making an appointment in the next few days. Already today we will have some technical meetings and above all physical activity. Felipe must return to the top: a demanding period of constant activity awaits him, but he knows that we are in no hurry."

Felipe Massa, who appeared to everyone to be already calm and in excellent shape, shared with Domenicali the program of activities for the next few days. Awaiting him this week will be days on the simulator, some technical meetings with the engineers and a lot of physical activity, in fact the Brazilian driver has arrived in Italy with his personal trainer. As regards the test with the F2007, it has not yet been decided when it will be carried out and in any case it is not scheduled for this week.

On his first day in Maranello Felipe greeted all the guys from Gestion Sportiva even though the majority of the team will only return from Japan in the evening and the appointment with them is scheduled for tomorrow.

Felipe Massa didn't give up a visit to Ferrari's New Assembly Lines to see the latest creation from the Maranello company, the 458 Italia. Here he met the CEO Amedeo Felisa, with whom he spoke to comment on the new car.

Before dedicating himself to the gym, Felipe also wanted to personally respond to the many emails and comments that have arrived in recent days on the official Ferrari website and for the next few days he has planned a live chat to thank all the fans and answer their questions.
