Pirelli will test a new range of P Zero tires for the Canadian Grand Prix

The Formula One teams will have the opportunity to test the new range of Pirelli P Zero tires during free practice for the Canadian Grand Prix, while for the race they will use the same specifications as at the start of the season, without modifications.

Therefore, the P Zero White medium and P Zero Red supersoft chosen for Montreal will not feature any new elements.

The new tire will be brought to Canada as a prototype for free testing, as permitted by current legislation. Each driver will receive two sets of this new medium tire for the two Friday sessions only.

Only after having received feedback from the teams and drivers, the new specification can be introduced, starting from the British Grand Prix at the end of June, and will remain unchanged until the end of the season.

These changes will not alter the performance and wear characteristics seen to date, in order to preserve the spectacle and maintain the strategic element of the races.
